COMPANY PROFILE

The COMEDY BLAST, INC. began producing Comedy Events in the summer of 1992. Our goal was to be different in an era that found comedy clubs on the decline, and too many comedians not qualified to perform at quality events. We sought to be different.

The COMEDY BLAST, INC. was determined to market comedy to the vast majority of the public who had never seen comedy in comedy clubs or one-nighters in bars. Our target was, and still is, non-profit organizations who could add Stand-Up Comedy events to their repertoire of fundraising events. Instead of the same old chicken dinners, oldies dances, and karaoke nights, organizations could now offer their membership and community outstanding quality Stand-Up Comedy events which can attract young and old alike.

The COMEDY BLAST, INC. has found a new niche in the arenas of Senior Citizen entertainment as well as Children's and Family entertainment, so that we may present our un-surpassed quality in these areas as well.

Comedy Blast for Children

Video games with lots of blood and body parts!! Movies and television shows with lots of murder and sex!! Graffiti on our highways and buildings!! The nightly news, with yet another shooting!! These are the negative images that our children do not need to see, but, unfortunately, see far too much of. What they need are positive images to entertain them. The COMEDY BLAST, INC., best known for our Comedy Night Fundraising Events for non-profit organizations and adult audiences, realizes the need for high-quality entertainment for our children that represent positive images, and gives our children (and adults) the chance to use their imagination and be children.

WHAT WE HAVE TO OFFER: MAGIC:

Dozens of Magic Acts, for either strolling or the stage. We have the usual to big stage acts with big illusions. Many have television credits, as well as participation in major fairs and festivals.

JUGGLING:

Whether single performers or juggling teams, and whether strolling or stage, we have a very talented assortment. Many juggle a variety of objects, or juggle while on 6-foot tall unicycles or stilts. Many have circus experience, or travel internationally.

CHILDREN'S MUSIC:

Most of our acts are award-winning, published artists, and most present upbeat, interactive programs that deliver very positive messages on relevant issues within their music.

VENTRILOQUISTS:

Some use one dummy, and some utilize an assortment of characters. Some of these performers work very well while strolling.

PUPPET & MARIONETTE SHOWS:

We have basic puppet shows to elaborate marionette productions.

MIMES:

Most work in traditional whiteface makeup. They can work the stage or stroll.

OTHER ENTERTAINMENT:

Stilt-Walkers (including one troupe), Storytellers, Caricaturists, Barbershop Quartettes, traditional clowns doing face-painting, Balloon Artists, Science Shows, a Gospel Group.
